Please do not bring any furniture like sofas and armchairs. We’re not interested in your bulky waste. If you intend to bring a current generator as power supply we ask you to leave it at home. Generators are not allowed because they cause noise and increase fire danger.
No glass bottles!
And please mind to keep free the emergency routes!!! Maybe the ambulance is trying to get to you?
Here is a list of essential things to bring with you to have a great festival.
Be prepared for almost any weather. Bring sun protection, warm clothes and wet weather gear – and a spare pair of shoes!
Consider that it can be cold at night even though warm daytime temperatures.
Do not forget your toilet bag:
Leave unnecessary keys and documents at home.
Don’t worry if you forgot something, there’s a market at the festivalsite which sells most of the essentials.
CARAVANS / CAMPERVANS
There are separate parking lots for caravans and mobile homes. These lots do not have any power supply, generators are not allowed. Cars and tents cannot be parked with caravans, please follow the instructions of the stewards.
Bikers may use the camping area for caravans. Please park your vehicle next to the tent.

Attention! Please keep free the emergency routes!!!
Open fires are strictly prohibited!!!
Open fire is forbidden with the exception of camping stoves. Please make sure that you keep a safety distance to tents while using camping stoves. Do not use camping stoves inside the tent even if it is raining outside.
Unfortunately the fire brigade forbid even grills. Sorry!

|Security & Health|
The Police and the security staff will try their best to prevent and avoid crime at the festival side. Unfortunately we can’t ensure complete safety. Please take care of your possessions!
If you miss something contact the Lost & Found at first. Maybe the missing item has already been found and brought there.
Contact the police if you become the victim of a crime. Please report any crime to the police.
Stay away from illegal substances. The whole Festival experience is quite surreal and gives your senses enough of a challenge just taking it all in. You might get very insecure, paranoid or distressed in large crowds.
Consuming, selling and buying drugs at a festival is illegal.
The Police and the stewards will keep their eyes open. If they notice you consuming or even dealing with drugs you will get into serious trouble.
Crowd Surfing is prohibited!!! In previous years, many uninvolved festival visitors were badly injured by crowd surfers.
If you intend to crowd surf you will be punished:
1 st timers will be reproved
2 nd timers will get a yellow card.
A yellow card means that you will have to leave the festival site (NOT the campsite) for 24 hours. Your festival wristband will be confiscated. After 24 hours you can exchange the yellow card for a new wristband.
You also risk getting a yellow card for misbehaviour like climbing on any constructions.
Every visitor is liable for any damage he causes.
The German Law For The Protection Of The Youth is effective.
Take care of your festival wristband and the pawn chip for the garbage bag. We will not replace anything.
Here are some simple tips which will help you stay safe and healthy throughout the festival weekend.
The Festival takes place on uneven grounds. Take care, especially at night – you can’t dance with a twisted ankle.
Serious sunstroke, sunburn or even skin cancer can be caused by the sun on unprotected skin.
The most important drink for you at the Festival is water ! Make sure you drink enough liquid - it's essential for your health. Long waking hours, dancing and summer sun can increase your need.
Do not drink too much alcohol. You easily overestimate yourself. Take care of one another. Drugs + alcohol can be a lethal cocktail. Please take care.
Practice Safer Sex!!! If you have sex please use condoms for your own and the other’s safety and health!
If you need medical or first aid assistance please approach a festival steward or make your way to one of the ambulance tents at the entrance.
These pharmacies will provide service:
Pharmacy on Duty Friday - Saturday
Pharmacy on duty Saturday to Sunday
Pharmacy on duty Sunday - Monday
If you love music and want to continue enjoying it for years to come, look after your ears. Be aware that in front of the PA stacks at nearly all of the music stages. Your ears can deal with it - for a short while. But if you are going to spend a long time at the stages remember to give your ears a break. Use Ear-Plugs to protect your ears.
|People with disabilities|
We want everyone to be able to enjoy the festival, participate, feel safe and be part of the crowd. We hope this information will assist you in having an enjoyable festival. Any feedback or comments are welcome as we are constantly looking for ways to improve the festival conditions for people with disabilities.
Please be aware that M’era Luna is a festival with uneven surfaces of grass fields and can be difficult to traverse.
Wheelchair users may use the camping area for caravans and mobile homes. There are wheelchair-accessible toilets.
At the festival ground, there will be a special area suitable for wheel chairs - please follow the signs.
Children under the age of 8 should not visit a Rock-Festival. Little ears can be injured easily.
Adolescent persons under the age of 18 must bring a written permission which is signed by the parents. The parents are responsible for their children. Teenager under the age of 16 must not smoke or drink. If they do they risk to be sent home.
